Nautical Inspector (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities:
- Monitoring, including planning the maintenance and upkeep of nautical systems, deck equipment, and safety systems
- Managing communication systems within a specifically defined area of our fleet
- Handling insurance claims
- Budget planning
- Preparing and conducting dockings
- Close collaboration and communication within the team and with the ship crews
Your profile:
- Completed vocational training or degree in Nautical Studies, with relevant sea experience as a nautical officer (m/f/d) or captain (m/f/d) (AG/AM certification)
- Ideally, experience in inspecting within a shipping company
- Knowledge in nautical and technical maintenance of ships and shipbuilding is desirable
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Excellent German and English language skills, both spoken and written
- Independent and self-motivated work style
- Strong communication skills, reliability and teamwork capability
